Conservation of Snakes:

A very olden village named PADMAKESHARIPUR, Patiagaon that is adjacent to Bhubaneswar, the Capital City of Orissa famous for the Snake Charmers throughout India. Their profession is charming of snakes and they have possessed thousands of snakes of different species in their house. In this continuous process many rare snakes are going to extinct. Our Organisation has done survey on those snake charmers family and aimed at stopping this practice with a substitute livelihood for them. All the living beings in this biosphere are related to each other in some way. Moreover animals and plants play an important role in this ecosystem. If a certain species of animal gets extinct then it will definitely affect the food cycle of other living beings, as we all are somewhat interlinked. For example if the snakes are not conserved then the number of rodents will increase which will lead to the destruction of grains and crops. There are many reasons for protecting snakes. They play an important role in controlling many yard and garden pests. Also, snake venom has been used in the development of many human medicines for blood and heart problems. Regardless of their direct benefits to us, all snakes have an important role in nature. They are a link in the chain of life and if one link is destroyed, the whole system may weaken and be jeopardized.

We have also facilities of SNAKE HELPLINE. In urban areas number snakes coming and entering in the human location and houses. Due to fear and bite people killing the snakes. So to save these snakes we have opened a snake helpline in which we have informed the public don't kill the snakes wherever you found. Just call us we will take away these snakes. Now we are regularly getting calls from public and rescuing the snakes.
